Ah...McDonalds.
The title of this blog is actually an anagram of the fully written out slogan, "I'm Lovin' it."
So anywho...just a few quick comments.
The Filet-O-Fish. I don't remember anybody ever saying what kind of fish it is. I've also never seen a square fish before either. Which makes me wonder, how much if any of what they do to create the chicken nuggets is done to create the Filet-O-Fish. And have you ever noticed they hide the fish's flavor with overprocessed cheese, shredded lettuce, tartar sauce, and the bun? I mention the bun because I've noticed McDonald's buns have a strong flavor, odd for a supposedly generic bread.
From a recent advertisement... "An irresistible classic known as the McChicken."
Oh really? You don't say...help me out here.
You haven't always had a Dollar Menu.
If memory serves, the first domestic fast food place to serve a $1 chicken sandwich was KFC, with their relatively recent Snackers.
And I don't remember the McChicken Sandwich from when I was growing up...so really...how classic is it?
And how irresistible can a piece of chicken be that costs so much less than a dollar, when you add the breading, condiments, bun, and the cost of cooking, that a $1 price tag still renders enough profit to make it worthwhile?
Thinking isn't illegal yet!
